Article about marketing – One of the best forms of promotion that is free is publishing articles that serve to position the person who writes as an expert in the matter.

In Internet, this practice is known as “article marketing” but the truth is that it is neither new nor specific to this medium. However, the Internet greatly enhances its exposure.

◦ flows through the site’s newsletter or blog

◦ circulates through the RSS of the site or blog

◦ extends to other sites or blogs that can comment on the news

◦ can be uploaded to any of the existing social bookmarks (del.icio.us, Digg, fresqui, technorati, etc)

◦ also can take a traditional medium like a newspaper or magazine.
